about me

I am an artist making work predominantly across live art, experimental performance, installation and moving image. I am interested in the live encounter and its opportunities for creating and testing relationships and ways of seeing. My work is focused on the experiential, exploring possibilities between audience member/participant/viewer/listener and performer/creator in the moment of live reception. Central to my practice is allowing opportunity for the unpredictable, not predicating a response to my work. I make work that promotes visceral responses not just as surface, group reactions but as individual, deep-seated and complex feelings facilitating a range of unique encounters.

I graduated with a First Class Honours BA Drama degree from the University of Bristol, UK in July, 2011. Since graduating, I have presented an installation work at the JISC-funded Curating Artistic Research Output (CAiRO) Summer School, have had an audio work presented in theatre company Action Hero’s Art Massage at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, shown my moving image work, 11001 rhythm, in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Romania and Russia, and performed imagined scenario for a corridor at Arnolfini, Bristol, Stockholm Fringe Festival 2012 and Worcester City Museum & Art Gallery.
